Alton is fortunate and unusual in still having an independent cinema. The Palace Cinema has been showing films seven days a week since 1932 but now its owner of the last 15 years wishes to retire. The Alton Cinema Project has been formed to try to ensure that Alton continues to enjoy independent cinema into the future. We need your help...
